As a percussionist, educator, composer, and collaborative arts leader, I am committed to developing the next generation of comprehensive artist-musicians: percussionists who are technically excellent, artistically curious, technologically fluent, and prepared to lead and contribute across a wide range of musical contexts. My approach to building a percussion studies program is grounded in the conviction that exceptional teaching, active artistry, and genuine mentorship are inseparable. Over fifteen years of full-time collegiate teaching, an active career in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance, an extensive commissioning practice, and sustained investment in recruitment have shaped a body of work I am proud to share here.
