UCF Percussion

My main gig: Coordinator of the Percussion Studies program and Director of the Percussion Ensemble at the University of Central Florida.

UCF New Music Ensemble and Collide Contemporary Music Series

Founded in 2011, the Collide Contemporary Music Series presents multiple “new music” events each semester on the campus of the University of Central Florida. The UCF New Music Ensemble was founded in 2017. I serve as Artistic Director of both.

Music Technology

Since 2009, I have taught three courses in music technology at UCF:

Boston University Tanglewood Institute

I currently serve on the faculty at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute where I am a percussion coach for the Young Artist Orchestra and Young Artist Wind Ensemble. This is a six week program during the summer months and includes applied lessons, percussion ensembles, and masterclasses.

Music For All

I’ve been fortunate to work with Music For All, an organization who’s mission is to “create, provide, and expand positively life-changing experiences through music for all” since 2012. I serve as an evaluator at the  Sandy Feldstein National Percussion Festival held in March. I also served as a faculty member in the concert percussion division at the Summer Symposium hosted at Ball State University, but this event hasn’t resumed since 2019.
